While bowling in the singles/doubles portion of our State Tournament Sunday evening I managed to sprain my middle finger. Since I only had 5-6 frames left for the day I continued to bowl and haven't bowled since.
My finger is pain free until I start to close my fist. The amount of pain that closing my hand causes has also decreased every day. There were no visible signs of swelling and it's no longer tender to the touch.
My driller suggested going to a vacu-grip in my middle finger to relieve some of the strain on my finger, but I was wondering if anyone here has had this issue and discovered a way to bowl without making the injury worse.
The end of the season is closing in, but we're in first place on Monday nights, so I don't want to let my teammates down by not bowling.
