ball suggestion...
« on: February 10, 2004, 07:51:44 PM »
I know that there are just too many of these kind of threads...but I just want to bounce this one off of you guys:

I have a freidn that currently throws a polished Fuel and a V2-Pearl, both drilled basically the same.  He is dropping down to 15lb equipment and only wants to buy one ball that will fall inbetween the two of his current balls.  He's a med speed power stroker with about a 35-40 deg release what would you think of putting him into?  My first initial thought was a Pure Fuel drilled slight stronger than his current equipment (pin above ring finger / MB about 1" off of thum in the strong position).

Comments / suggestions?

Jeff...

I was originally thinking about the Apocalypse, but I liked the idea of the particle pearl coverstock used on the Pure Fuel.  I would be somewhat concerned with the reactive coverstock on the Apocalypse being just a hair too much skip flip for him (too much like the V2-Pearl).  The V2 has a lower RG than the Apocalypse so it was my hope that the particles in the PF would help read the midlane like his V2P did.

Explain yourself man!!

I said the Apoc because it's a stronger cover than the Pure, and would probably fit in between better...that's all
