If you could have one ball...
« on: September 29, 2003, 12:27:51 AM »
Here is an interesting question for everyone. If you could get one discontinued ball NIB, what would it be?

Personally, I would kill for a NIB Imperial Quantum. How about you guys?

Another vote for the 3D Blazing Violet. I have the 3D Maxxx and love it.

definately the command zone arc or the track triton heat (red swirl) from way back in 97

Pardon me, Way back in '97??  I bet Sawbones has socks that are older than you are!! LOL.  I'm still throwing a '91 Pink Hammer due to ungodly dry outsides and backends around here.  That'd be my pick, the old Pink Hammer - unless there's a little oil, then the Black Hammer!

A Quantum Leap, or a NIB Bullwhip to replace the one I bought used several years ago.

Truely the best ball ever made has to be the Burgundy Hammer.  Anyone who has posted a ball made within the last 5-8 years has obviously never thrown anything but reactive equipment except maybe at spares.  This ball was so versatile you could give it a cheese grater surface for conditions resembling The Exxon Valdez or shine it up to 2000 or more for the Sahara Desert.  You could have had an entire arsenal with nothing but Burgandys
