And according to the { then }  ABC,  it was up to the opposing teams capt. to watch for fouls if the lights are not working...

If the opposing teams capt. did not call it,  no foul...

And Yes,  he would have called the foul.

I had something similar happen way back in Junior leagues IE 1991 lol

It was a spring league and the foul lights wernt on.. So after a good first game 230 game, i''m starting off good with a couple strikes and a spare..  And i throw my next ball and get a strike..  

Well a guy on the opposing team, says I fouled..... And I am like WTF no way did i foul...I stop atleast a foot from the foul line, and always have....  He argues, that since the foul lights are not on, that he can call a foul on me, if he thinks I committed one.  I come back, with so how can you tell if i crossed the foul line, from way back in the sitting area???  

So after about 15mins of arguing, I was forced to take the foul.   So on his next shot, I called a foul..... from across the damn building... And said, now you have to take a zero...  And yes i went to crap after the foul cuz it completely made me think more about where my feet were stopping than anything..

Call it petty, but seriously if the foul lights are not on,,, and you didnt fall onto the lanes, you''d have every swinging dick calling a foul..  And you''d have to take a foul no matter what.. And if you dont believe me, just try doing it to someone in league or a tournament, you''ll basically start a fight... And then you''ll have them calling fouls on you if your anywhere within 5 feet of the foul line.

Now try arguing that.....
