In need of some help...
« on: April 10, 2012, 10:05:53 PM »

It has been forever since I have been truly motivated to bowl but I am finally ready to jump back into it.  My expectations are a lot higher than the current state of my game.  I am on the hunt for someone to take a fresh new look at my game and help me with some on-lane lessons.  Looking for a top-level coach that is willing to really work with me. I have had some great coaches in the past and I am just looking for a fresh pair of eyes to take a look at my game and help me get back to the level I am looking to get at.

If anyone knows anyone in the St. Charles/St. Louis area please let me know.  I have video I can provide before we work on the lanes for the first time if that would be easier or we can just jump right in to it.  I do work m-f 8-5ish so I will need someone available either nights or weekends.

Thank you,

P.s. It might of helped to give a little history of my bowling experience.......

I grew up in a bowling alley as my family bowled but I did not take it serious till I was about 15.  I was lucky enough to have some early success in Southern California and got early exposure to tougher patterns.  In 05 I got the deal to come out to Lindenwood where I was given the chance by Randy and was on the A team for 4 years.  Was never the best on the team but was always in the mix.  Got a lot of good experience and great coaching from Randy Lightfoot, Eddie Byrd, Larry Earnest and the late Mike Halwe.  Pretty much bowled on non-house shot patterns for 5-6 years straight.  After college in 2010 I took almost a full year off from being burnt out.  Last year I tried to get back into it but since I still worked weekends I did not have much motivation since tournaments were out of the question.  Since then my swing is awful and I feel like I throw it different every time I step on the lanes.  I have had some success lately with being lucky enough to being apart of the 5 man team that broke the world record and having a couple other honor scores too.  And now that I am free on the weekends I am motivated to get back to where I was and hopefully even better.

Consider me a project of sorts.  Like I said, if you know anyone that would be willing to help me, please contact me.
