I'm impressed

Look under the new balls list, the new X-Factor Reloaded has already been added, complete with ALL the technical data AND a picture!  Storm has nothing up as of yet.  It smells like Cinnamon Apple!  Now to see if bowlingballreviews has it . . .

I am impressed too. With this site that is can't believe they have info here before Storm has it up on there site. Little disappointed with Storm though: don't care much for the look of the ball not enough color, I like more color cause it makes it easier to see what the ball is doing. Not that color will keep me from buying one. Curious to see how it compares to the Deuce as far as handling oil and reaction.

Another thing to be impressed with is that there was a "review" on the new Beast Master from Columbia that wasn't really a review just a vent on how many new balls have been coming out recently.  I don't know how long it was up for, but it's gone now.  Guess the mystery owners are paying attention at least.

I think it is definitely encouraging.  I encourage nobody to harbor any ill will towards the new owner.  They may have very well saved this place for us.  Seems as if Scott had had enough.  Who knows maybe he would have just ended it all together.  Give them a chance see what happens.  Just remember those that forget the past are doomed to repeat it.

I had sent an email informing the new admin that there was a new ball out.  I received an email requesting more info so I sent what I had back and expect to see the ball added to the list shortly.  If you know of any new ones out, just click on the link to send the admin an email.  At least there is an interest there and a quick response.

I think we wrongly assumed that there is a single owner.  I think bowling.com or some bigger entity bought the site and there are probably 5 or 6 admin that is why there are generic screennames and email addresses

It's surprising, especially since bowlingballreviews usually has new equipment up before anyone even hears a word about the ball itself.  And don't worry about the color, the only ball that Storm has been close on recently as far as their site picture has been the Deuce.  The original X was close, but still not quite.  I'd imagine the ball will be darker and a little more swirled.  I'm sure everyone remembers the Shock Trauma, it was emerald and blue and purple, or was supposed to be, as it ended up being black.  Nice logo colors though.

And another thing, at least it's better than Ebonite's colors.  You do have to admit that Storm has the corner on the market as far as eye-grabbing colors that don't look too horrid.  The Recovery and Response were kinda ugly, but Columbia has the market on ugly.  Ebonite's colors are dark and bland, Track's are decent, Brunswick's are nice, but a little too uniform, they have very few that have more than one color.  Hammer's are sometimes just short of starkly vomituous, i.e. the Blade and Vicious Particle, although the original Vicious looks ok.
