I assume you are talking about the personal model. A couple of years ago, I bought a NuBall oil extractor. Works quite well. Warms the ball up and the oil drips into a small cup in the bottom. About $200. As far as cleaning the Oil off the ball, just use a micro fiber towel and some cleaner. Keep the in the extractor until there is no more oil bleeding from the ball. Mostly it is a plug it in and forget it. You should sand the ball at about 500 grit to open up the pores before putting it in the extractor. When it is done, then sand it back to the desired finish.
