Are the heavy oilers drilled differently? IMO, I''d just use 1 dedicated heavy oil ball, for the rare occasions that you actually need one with heavy, early roll and good traction.
To me, the BW as a medium oil ball sounds fishy, too, even though I know that used original BWs lose a lot of bite and get much weaker than NIB. If this is the case and you get along well with the ball, why not?
Otherwise I''d agree with Foppe - here, in the medium range, a shiny medium strength ball would make sense. A Fast or a polished Furious could fit there, or a Nomad.
Additionally, IMHO Natural and Avalanche Pearl handle quite similar conditions. I know that finding a dry/light condition ball is difficult, but I''d just bag one of these, and I''d personally favor the Natural.
If you find the balls that work for you, you should be able to boil the arsenal down to abot 4 balls + spare.
