Picked up a roll of the Bioskin Pro in blue tonight, and it seems to work very well. First time in probably 5 years I've bowled without some kind of glove on my hand. I've noticed there are multiple types and colors to this product, though. What's the tackiest of them all, the next-most, etc.?

I bought a roll of the white Bio Skin Ultra, just to see how it would work in place of grips (bare holes) and while it is tacky (I can't imagine it any tackier) it didn't feel right.  It almost seemed too thick to use as finger tape, but I only really tried it once and said "forget it", so maybe my memory/experience isn't quite correct.

A friend has the blue stuff and that seems to be less tacky but much thinner.  I've heard that the yellow stuff is even less tacky and very thin.  Since I went back to grips my fingers have calloused up and are starting to crack again so I'm going to give the yellow stuff a try, ordering it today.

I have both pro and ultra.  The blue pro I can use in my finger grips as it is very thin, it helps protect skin and assists my release ( more of a protectant though).  The white ultra is thicker, more tacky ( a bit of a rubbery feel).  This tape I cannot use in my grips, as it is too thick, I also believe it was meant more for lining index, pinky and palm for more grip on the surface of the ball, don't think it was intended for inside finger holes or grips.

Thanks for the replies. There is now some kind of silver tape as well, I think in the Ultra line. I may have to try that out.

jess,

a lil fyi, the bio-skin blue, ( i use it )  can be applied in two directions, i found this out last season..  i know it sounds weird, but when i cut the stuff and apply it to my fingers, if i go one way, it doesnt stretch as much, but go the other way with the tape, it stretches alot more.... so much more, my fingers would burn, after a few games of bowling, yet if i applied the tape like i would normally do, my fingers dont burn.

i know it sounds weird but its the truth lol.    but jmo i love the blue bio-skin and wouldnt use anything else.   i've used the yellow vise grip tape and some other stuff from turbo2n1 and bio-skin is alot better, i can basically bowl all day long and not have to replace the tape on my fingers.   my hands do sweat alot, and with the turbo 2n1 finger tape and the vise grip yellow stuff, i would have to replace the tape after 3 games....
