TTo John P. referring back to my post about "beveling" thumb hole. Nice post on Wikipedia about using a drill bit to set the bevel. Still think this is the best method to "bevel". This article advocates the use of the next size bit over the thumb size. I think the use of at least two sizes over the thumb drill bit size is a good start.
