inside/outside
« on: September 11, 2009, 07:44:30 AM »
I was wondering if its an advantage to play inside or outside depending on where one person or a majority of the people are playing. I was thinking it would be an advantage to play inside of your opponent because area to the right of the person playing inside is drying up. I also think that the area to the left of the person playing outside would decrease room for error giving an advantage to the person inside. Im also curious if this applies to people playing close to each other with the same breakpoint or far from each other with similar breakpoints.

I feel bad for the bowler''s defenceless equipement when the bowler is not bowling up to par. . . .don''t you?

I bowl on several teams with down and in , or second arrow only
shooters. I normally will stand inside their line and wheel the ball
right of their line.  This approach usually holds my line longer than
if I would try to play in their tracks.

Rember when someone moves left and you are inside of them they may bring the BP closer to you, thus making you adjust off him. If that person is using a dull ball it will dry it quickly for you, if they are using Urethane, they will push oil down forcing you to bump deeper and get get a flater line or get right writh the guy throwing urethane.
