Interesting 11 in a row numbers
« on: February 10, 2004, 02:29:55 AM »
Just got my american bowler, and while many of you will probably see this in there I thought I would share it

data from 1981-2003.  Number of scores shot with 11 in a row

270 -- 25
271 -- 0
272 -- 2
273 -- 9
274 -- 16
275 -- 183
276 -- 909
277 -- 3,439
278 -- 14,970
279 -- 59,786
290 -- 204,199 (both variations)
291 -- 72
292 -- 15
293 -- 430
294 -- 282
295 -- 3,321
296 -- 18,213
297 -- 43,424

I want to be the first to go 1- then 11 in a row for 271!...lol

I just found that interesting...enjoy

I was surprised to find out that at least here, in the Cincinnati area, 300's outnumbered 291-299 combined last year.  (No one shot 291 or 292, there were 2 293's and 1 294.)  The 300's outnumbered the "first 11 and choke"'s by about 3:2.

270? What is that, double gutter ball in the first then 11 in a row?

HAHA

Yeah thats what it says.  All of the 270's are with open 1st frames and back 11

Also found 298 and 299

298 -- 89,129
299 -- 211,591

290 -- 204,199 (both variations)

A gutter for the 12th would be suicidal

Those are some cool stats. Enjoyed reading them in my AB. Bit off topic here, sorry, but.......I tried getting the BOWLINGBALLINFO.com site that was advertised on the back cover. Got nothing! Site unavailable. Is it just me? Can anyone access this site? Thanks.

Monday night I had 11 in a game, washout in 8th for 257. Mental breakdown, distraction. Embarassing, but still shot 700.

I will certainly be on that list next year.  I have a 294 and a 295 this year.  I wonder if I am the only person to have both of those games in one season.  Heck, only person to have both of those games.

Who needs a 300 or 800, when I have a 294 and a 295!?!?!
