I believe that is how bowling balls were drilled a long time ago... i think...

Cool, I haven't really seen this kind of thing before.  Was this the 2 hole precursor to the "K-mart drilling"?

Throw some thumb tape in (if it'll stick) and put your middle AND ring finger into the one big hole, instead of 2 smaller ones...DUH!

Looks correct to me. All balls were drilled with 2 holes until someone (famous) came up with the three hole drilling - I think sometime in the 1930s??
Could have been earlier, but I can't recall for sure.

Most likely some collector using a "sniper" program. If you are the "average joe" you will not win most items at the "right price" without one. One of the major drawbacks of modern technology.

Wow!

Funny thing is, give me some time, and I could make *close* to the same thing, a wooden bowling ball!  And with an iron core, and make a sandpaper coverstock, woo!
