Interesting news out of Cincinnati

Saw this piece on the local news.  Apparently there are plans to close and tear down Western Bowl.  This is where they hold the Hoinke.  It will be interesting to see what the future of the tournament will be.

I just called and the gentleman I talked to said it is quite possible and has a 50/50 chance od shutting down at this point. They havnt decided if there going to relocate, but from what I've heard from others is there not going to open another location. Here is the # if you want to call them yourselves. I rolled the Hoinke for the first time a few weeks ago.  It appears to be a well run tournament in a respectible center.  It's a shame they're going to close it down.

Steve Fehr runs a nice shop out there and he's a very nice guy.  Steve...if you're reading this, thanks for helping my guys out while we were in town.

Check out the PBA message boards (Central Region) for more information.  Russ Hoinke posts on there occasionally and has been commenting about this very topic.
