Thumb
« on: March 25, 2004, 08:55:11 AM »
I bowled nine games tonight and, I now have seven blisters on my thumb. I can not figure out what is going on. You name the area of my thumb and there is a blister there. I am totally bewildered...

rlamanna -- Thumb hole way too small or pitches way off or the inside of the hole is very rough.  Only other possibility I can think of - some people are allergic to the resin in the reactive and particle balls.  If you have just switched to one of these balls from plastic or urethane or if you have used a thumb sleeve or slug before but had this ball drilled without one, could be that.  --  JohnP

Added on edit:  I am assuming that you routinely bowl this number of games without thumb irritation
