The recent Asian Championships all-events consisted of 24 games over a short (34 feet) and long (44 feet) oil pattern.  The top 5 women averaged one pin less than the top 5 men--224 vs 225.  What makes it more unusual is that all 5 women came from one country (Korea).  The men's division had over 100 bowlers from Japan to the Middle East.
