Future Of Bowling

Interesting article on bowling in NY Times.  More about the economic effect of bowling in NYC but I was intriqued by what they had to say about us league bowlers.

WTF 13$ per game lol, celeb chefs lol,

I've been to a Lucky Strike bowling alley over @ twelve oaks mall in Michigan... and it sucked the big donkey dick, they told several guys in our group they couldnt come in cuz they were wearing a hat, or one guy couldnt come in cuz his pants were way too baggy, yet they let in another guy with baggyier pants lol..... So we ended up telling them off and going 50ft away to a new bar and drinking and whoop'n it up and just having a good time.. No one gave us crap about a "hat" or baggy pants that "were not" sagging down to someones knee's cuz it was being held up at his waist by a belt.....

I personally think these places are a great idea.  It will get the people who want that experience out of my "regular" bowling center and free it up for more "regular" bowling.  Maybe if there are more of these places the regular centers will stop trying to cater to these once a year "bowlers" and concentrate on the league bowler again.
