If my track is closer to my thumb hole and away from my fingers?

you have an inverted track....it's how you release the ball ...as long as you're not thumping your thumb hole, you should be ok...

Yes, an inverted track is closer to the fingers than to the thumb.  You have a very normal track.  --  JohnP

Agreed on the last 2 posts about the inverted track---I know because I have one. Makes drilling a pain in the something or other. As far as this track... I dont know that stuff. I dont know if its necessarily normal. I was trying to think of how you could throw the ball to do this---I drew a blank. Could be a combination of things.

Also...
If you have multiple bowling balls, is this happening with all of them? And if so are they are drilled the same (layout)?
