...that I can have actually found a game in which I have real talent?  I'm Mr. Well-rounded, being that I can play each and every sport, but I'm pretty much average at all of them.

BUt you tell me.  I just finished my first serious league, getting my first reactive ball in november.  And I finished the last 2 months or so averaging 160, with a high series of 592.  Here's the kicker:  I don't bowl on a THS.  No, I'm not stubborn, but it's the fact.  It's at least a big OOB, more likely a reverse block.  (Point being that a strike shot thrown out to 5 will react like urethane or something, and everyone can shoot 10 pins like that, but inside 10 is normal is a normal reaction).

SO can it actually be?  I have found something I'm actually good at?  

Hopefully my first couple weeks of new league I can shoot my first 600...

I read somewhere awhile ago that Earl Anthony said in order to be a good bowler you have to practice 10 games a day (atleast) for 2 years to be a good bowler. But he went on further to say, that when he says practice he means PRACTICE. No worrying about scores. But more, concentrating on hitting your mark, trying lines you are not familiar with etc...


That is not a bad average at all for the end of a first season. Keep at it, see how much you can bring your average up next year.
