Although I don't live in Lake County, I do much of my bowling there.

I might be open to some sort of BallReviews.com team in a summer league, but I can't add any more leagues to my already full winter league schedule.

I generally bowl in a PBA condition league at Hawthorn Lanes in the summer time.  Hawthorn gets the patterns from the PBA and puts each of them down for 2-3 week at a time.  I usually don't have anyone in particular to bowl with in that league, but my teammates from last summer suggested that we get together again this coming summer.  OTOH, you probably know how those things can go, so I might end up being available.  BTW, they actually run two of those leagues.  One is trios on Wednesday evenings and the other is doubles on Fridays.  I usually bowl in the Wednesday league.

Hey there....
I live in Lake county also.  Bowl winter leagues at Hawthorn on Monday and Tues and at BZ Deer Park on Thurs.  Over the summer, I will be bowling a Tues nite scratch sport trios league at BZ Deer Park and may be looking for a few bowlers.  Might be interesting.

Rick, I will be interested in that. As i will be bowling with a good friend and lake county hall of famer on the Friday Night Double leauge. I plan on bowling out in Island lake IL at the 3-D Bowl with i think its Dale Traber and his summer PBA leauge. 13 weeks with a pattern change every 2 weeks. Keep me posted on that. So if this works out, ill be bowling Wed-Fri this summer, Hawthorn, IslandLake, then Hawthorn. All depending on the job situation at the time.

Jim, Im not good enough for scratch bowling yet. Not with the way ive been bowling lately. My highest series in the last 2 weeks has been 567 and I bowl on a THS teus-fri. Sport shots on Monday, currently averaging 156 on that. So me doing a scratch leauge wouldnt be feasible.

IL,
Thursdays at 3D in the summer is Dave Traber's league, not Dale's.  He uses PBA patterns, and a few of his own making, such as a pattern where he doesn't oil outside of 15 on either side of the lane.  Sounds like fun, eh?  Another neat feature of his league is he has a mini-tourney at the end of the summer.  3D is a bit far for me, and I'm usually busy on Thursdays, but I would enjoy going out there on Thursdays, myself, if I could.

Dave can hold it on-line longer than any of you guys near the gutter......favors him.

Dale's living in Cedearburg, WI. still I think.

Ric,
I dont live in Lake County but do reside in northern
Cook and work with Rich Blake in his bowlers shop
in Niles Il (brunswick zone Niles). I do compete
the likes of Paul Bober, Rich Blake, Mitch Sacks,
Ken Barton, Mike Jacobs, and know most of the guys
that bowl out at Hawthorne. Would be interested in
hooking up sometimes to bowl or you need some one
for a tournament or whatever.
