virtual tournaments
« on: January 31, 2006, 03:34:15 AM »
I just signed up for my first virtual tournament.  Anyone tried these out?  I am in the handicap bracket which I now see is probably a mistake since I am carrying a 219 average.  Next week I'll probably end up in scratch.  Anyone have any experiences or advice they would like to share with me?

As with all things, this is my opinion. And we all know, opinions are like butt-holes, we all have one.

In the handicap, that's about what I need.  It's 100 percent handicap!!  I should have studied it more before I signed up.

I entered these tournaments when they were a part of BR back when Scott owned the site.  I did okay, got back close to what I spent.  I tried them over on VT and didn't do to bad during the summer.

I watched the scores for the winter and never entered...I couldn't compete.  Now I would never consider entering.  My scores are just to inconsistent that even with hdcp at 100%, I would be donating.
