Scorpion has changed lengths over the years, as have the other animal patterns.  At one time the Cheetah was 35, Viper 37 Chamelion 39, Scorpion 41 and Shark 43.  They lengthened them all by about a foot 2 or 3 years ago.  Now they have lengthened several of them again. 

The trend is to longer and longer patterns for tournament conditions with a couple of shorter patterns thrown in like the Wolf.  I like the longer patterns because guys are learning to play the pattern when fresh rather than just go deep and blow a hole in it.
