Polishes the ball well, but does not reduce the hook potential of the ball. I have used car polishes back in the old days and you get a pretty ball that no longer hooks like it was designed. Now if what you are needing is to reduce the hook due to dry lanes that would be an excellent choice, but if just needing to get the ball down the lane easier and create a stronger back end then the Black Magic is an excellent choice.Roll with 900 Global.
