Since money is the issue. If most of these guys can't make a living at this then its time to step back and let them have jobs. They can go to tournaments that are strategically placed through out the year. Instead of every week.

Would it be in the best interest of the PBA to cut down. Maybe there should be one event for every oil pattern out there (That would be 11 events. 12 if you count the Dydo Cup in Japan).

Up the entry fees for each event.

Open the regular tournaments up to more bowlers (No Exemption).

Points achieved are only used in majors. The bowlers with highest points in
previous year are guaranteed spots in major events.

Maybe there needs to be more international stops other than Japan.

I am thinking create less events but increase the prize fund. Make it worth while for the bowlers to go and win some money, instead of having all these events and watering down the prize money.

I would agree with this. Cut down the number of events, up the entry fee, and make it worthwhile for guys to go out and bowl. If you really wanted to make a living, you could do it in High Rollers and amateur tourneys with 10k first place prizes and stuff like that. Everybody in the Round of 64 makes money, and I find that stupid. With only 64 players, you shouldn't cash until at least the round of 16.

What was the reason cutting the number down from 48 to 36 now to 21?

HEY... We have trailer courts in Indiana too!!! We also have a couple PBA Tournaments.
