I haven't encountered any loss of reaction from my multitude of Xceptions. They are still extremely strong downlane and I haven't touched them surface wise.  One in particular has a ton of games on it because it gets the most use.

Any chance the lanes he's encountering have changed?  Maybe more oil downlane?

what im thinking is that maybe he should just maintain the ball a lil better i guess....perhaps cleaning every now and then after x amount of games should reduce the oil build up...and probably polish it so it doesnt loose its skid/flip reaction....you think track's clean and polish or magic shine will do??..

That's a good suggestion.  Use a good cleaner (like Clean N Sheen) and then some Magic Shine.  Magic Shine is a great polish because it leaves the agressiveness of the ball intact and creates a strong dowlane reaction.

Achappy,
Can I use Clean and Sheen if I dont have a spinner? If not, will Clean and Dull do the trick?

Buckwild (LOL, I like that name )  I will have to defer to somone else who has used it without a spinner.  I have a spinner at home so I've neve used them without one.  However, IIRC, Clean 'N Dull and Clean 'N Sheen can be used by hand but the latter works best with a spinner.
