Title: Is oil or ball layout more important?
Post by: 2handedvolcano on November 03, 2017, 12:10:08 PM
It is so hard to tell. I seem to conquer one but not the other.

Trolling a bowling forum is I guess of badge of honor because how many trolls would bother?  Way to stand out and make momma proud.  Now on to that needle point site to hit your days quota.  As for layout just drill everything including your spare ball 65x4"x30 with a double thumb hole.

Ball layout most definitely, by a slim margin over OIL.  Depends on where you are bowling and what day of the week it is and what the ambient temperature is.

Almost forgot, humidity can come into play as well.

2handedvolcano,

Here's a simple experiment for you.  Take a few balls that have different layouts, wipe oil all over them, then throw a game.  Any hook?  There's your answer.

No its pins.  Without pins what would balls hit besides your chin?

I agree, you should buy three of everything from every manufacturer.  Then you can drill each one pin up, pin down, and full roller.  Just imagine the kind of ball reviews you can post on here.  You tube better buy some more servers.

if there was no pins; the scoring machine would give you a strike.  no pins = automatic 300!
