What I mean is this:
At my home house, we have a 2-Man Team Doubles league where you bowl a 4 game set... but it's a "split" session format (meaning you bowl 2 games against 1 team and then the last 2 games against another team).
I know that if you and your partner shoot 525+ for 1 of the games, that you get a 525 Plaque... but what if the team shot 1000+ for the 2 game set, would you get any kind of Plaque for that? Is that considered a Team Honor Score?
Me and my partner shot 1000 on the dot recently last week for a 2 game set, I shot 513 and he shot 487 for the 2 game set, and I was wondering if we will get anything for it or if we need to fill out a Team Honor Score award form for it... or maybe it's not even considered an honor score like the "525" single game thing is???
Thanks!

There is reference in the ABC rules to the 525 two-person game and also 1500 series, but nothing that mentions a two game total...or should I say, nothing that I found in a quick search.
Rule 54 seems to be the area that outlines reporting requirements in this case.

Michelle,
Is that 1500 series for a 2-Man Doubles Team 3 game series?

Ric, that would be my interpretation...but admittedly I did not look real close at what you actually get for such a score.
BTW...even with no two-game award, it was still some great shooting.

Well it looks like if a 2-Man team can shoot 1500 for a 3 game set, and it's considered as an Honor Score... that shooting 1000 for a 2 game set would be too.
Because 1500 for 3 games is an average of 250 a game... and so is a 1000 for 2 games. Both are an average of 250.
Oh well...

It's not an honor score. I bowled in a singles youth 4 game leage and there was nothing handed out for 1000 sets. And believe me, there were a ton.
