During the WSOB,I was watching Wes Malott bowl,thinking about his sheer physical presence on the lanes.
Then I started thinking, is he the most animalistic player as far a pure size and skill and talent.I know
Robert Smith is that type of raw strength player.Smith is not that tall, but what he does on the lanes
primeval.Former team U.S.A.bowler Fero Williams has the size,talent ,look to terrorize the opposition.I  
then thought of former PBA superstar Steve Cook.All 6'7" 240lbs plus.Steve is one of the nicest guys
you could meet.On the lanes he was pure power personified.The things he could do to a urethane ball, in
his prime he was simply unreal.Steve had 15 titles and retired way to early.I wonder how many more
titles he could have won

One man no one mentions from the urethane days was John Gant---the buzzsaw was quiet but for years the strongest lefty on tour and his ball reaction intimidated a lot of people
