I've seen a lot of posts recently about cheating in bowling. Now, I've got an example from this past season in my league. Lemme know your opinions on this matter. I bowl in a Junior League with handicap on Saturday mornings. Girls and Boys. The bowlers in the league are fairly average, with bowlers ranging from sub 100 up to around 195. Well, This past year a pair of brothers formed a new team consisting of themselves, two other boys and a girl. Now, the 4 boy's averages ranged from 175-195, pretty respectable. However, the girl on the team was sad. Her average was around an 80, no lie. She wasn't really associated with any of the boys, they just kind of picked her up to bowl. The team went on to win first place in the league. This is just for fun I know, but i can't help but have a sour taste in my mouth. My team didnt finish even close to them or anything, but it just doesn't seem fair to me. I wouldnt mind if they had won at all, it just seems as if they won a very close race between 2 teams due to their extensive handicap. Is this wrong, or do I just have sour grapes?
