Is this forum slow for anyone else?

I can get to the forums homepage, with easy forum listed, fast enough.  But getting into the Misc forums take forever it seems.  Half the time I just quit and go to another website or something.

Anyone else?   Or is it a anti-bamaster conspiracy?

Yeah- a slow pace for me at work, and I am usually on a lightning fast cable connection.

Takes 1-3 seconds depending ... most in the 1+ range, using a cable modem.

they need to make a search bar for this web site with all the junk that gets saved.  There's just so much that when I go back into the archives it makes be feel back in the old days with a 56k modem.

if your internet is slow, try getting: spybot: search and destroy ad-aware 6.0 and winsockxpfix.  those should be available at www.download.com , if they're not, search google for them. stop looking at adult sites and you shouldn't have a problem

My Internet isn't slow.  Just this forum.

I use FireFox... so I don't have a problem with spyware.  I click the Miscellaneous link, then use my tabbed browsing to surf other websites, then come back to ballreviews to see if the page is loaded.

Tony, as a web guy, you know that there are many reasons why a site can "slow down" from time to time, including general traffic along the route that connects your computer to the site's host.

In my experience, this site gets a little slow at least several times per week.  I'd say it's about average, compared to other data-intensive sites I visit frequently.

I've gotten a few errors too.

It might have something to do with having to generate those 330+ pages.  I'm sure that's a processor hog.

My forums come up pretty quick(phone line) but my personal messages are v..e..r..y slow.
