I found a rule under YABA and it states the following:
Rule 606. A bowler using a two-hand delivery will establish an average with two hands. When the bowler changes to a one-hand delivery, they must establish a new average using that hand.
So, this isn't stated like this in ABC, but ABC clearly states that you must establish an average using either the right hand or left. You can only switch if you have a medical problem. Nothing is stated about using two-hands that I could find. If anybody can find it I would appreciate the info. The point I'm trying to make is that ABC is lacking here. The subject should be defined.
Back to the point. Actually, if the ABC follows the YABA rules, my teamate shouldn't be allowed to shoot his 10 pin with one hand and use two hands for his strike shot ball. In addition, what we saw on TV by the Finish guy is also illegal if he were in the YABA. CASE CLOSED.
I never said bowling with 2 hands is illegal (I said only it "should" be based on the current rules). I'm saying it needs to be defined properly by ABC as using either the right/left hand is different from using 2 hands. Rules need to be stated clearly, but it isn't by ABC.

I want to have a 220+ average like everybody else around here, so give me fresh oil.
