How bad do you think you need to know????
« on: May 19, 2004, 12:47:42 AM »
OK.....with all of this talk about bowling balls and arsenals, How bad do you think you need to know what the core shape is, what the surface is, what the RG and Diff are?

I think that most people want and feel the need to know. I know I love to know the core shapes. THUS the reason I back Track, best cores. BUT, just because the RG and Diff numbers, is that going to make you pick up a ball? For example....the Animal RG 2.53 Diff .055, Track Flare RG 2.617 Diff .078. Naturally looking at the numbers are going to state that the Flare will get down the lane a little more, but not THAT much more. Now, look at the Differential.....What would you think?

Also, we all believe so much of what a company tells us. Just because a company says ball "X" is a high load particle and ball "Y" is a low load particle, how do we really know?

Guess with this post I am trying to pass some time, and maybe get the crowd going a bit. If you are going to try to answer the "how do we really know" part, try to be very convincing.
