Title: Is this the end of ABC giving out rings??? Cheack this out.

Click on the link below, in the description it says, "This is the last year for these rings. ABC will no longer exist after January 1st, and neither will these rings."

What does this mean?

 What happens if a local Association says it is not going to transfer
 to this new Association on 1 Jan 2005.

I think we've missed the point with this post.  Can you believe that with 8 days left on this auction the price of this ring is over $107 and the opening bid was $30.  If I would have known these things could fetch this much money I would offered up all but one of my 299 rings.  Heck, I'm sure I can find some YABA stuff for sale too.  It's amazing what people will pay for without earning.

I am sure Keepsake will keep supporting the older rings. I know that right now, they'll replace 'em if you lose 'em - I'm sure that won't change.

Thats crazy!! Someone willing to pay $147.50 for a 299 siladium ring.. and that auction still has 8 days left!! maybe I should a couple of my rings on ebay now..

ABC, WIBC and YABA awards programs will go unchanged for the 04-05 season. After Aug. 1, 2005, they will change to USBC. So if you shoot an honor score from January through July, it will still be ABC.

From an organizational standpoint, USBC will go into affect as of Jan. 1, but the members will see no difference in services offered.

So you get these rings for free if you shoot a 299 game?
