Which is drill to hook more...pictures included

me..stroker.....med speed low revs

Ball 1 afterburner with a weight hole
Ball 2 ultimate angular one with no weight hole

Which is drilled stronger...let me know any information

Simple and easy answer is which one hooks more when you throw it?  You have an apple and an orange there my friend.

Just looking at the layout and cores used in each ball, I'd say the Ultimate Angular One would hook more in the back compared to the Afterburner but it all depends on how you throw the ball, the conditions etc...

The afterburner kinda slides and then takes a rather straight line towards the pocket.  I was just wondering what kind of drill is on the angular one.  The span is perfect (bought it used)  I was wondering will it slide as much as the afterburner....will the move towards the pocket be more of an arc>

Dont take this the wrong way, but, why do you want to know? Are you transferring layouts? Layouts are only one aspect of ball motion and while they affect it, you the bowler, the balls themselves and the lane conditions are going to dictate what the ball does.

As DP3 said, in this case, you're comparing apples to oranges. A pearl symmetrical to a asymmetric.... whatever the UAO cover is. The Asymm is going to be stronger in this case anyways. I suggest you go to bowlingchat.net and read the Wiki,.... the entire Wiki. It has all the information anyone will ever need to layout equipment.

Afterburner should have a lot of flare all the way down the lane due to shorter pin to pap.

The Ultimate angular one should wait on it's hook and have a nice backend if you have enough hand to power that weaker drill.

To give it a shot without knowing your PAP the afterburner appears to be drilled stronger, the pin appears to be in the general strong position.  The Ultimate should go longer and have a more pronounced backend where the afterburner would flare more and give more hook throughout the lane but will burn easier on lighter patterns.

The Ultimate Angular One is the One core with the Mission XL1200 coverstock! Depending on your pap you'll see two different reactions and you are comparing apple to oranges as been stated!! A symmetrical ball compared to asymmetrical. The UAO should be longer and more backend with the AB being earlier and more even!!

On an asymmetrical that layout on the uao isn't that weak....depending on your pap, that could be a 5" pin to axis which is still high flaring on an asymmetrical.
