Agree with PinChaser, if you plan on playing a line for a while, I make sure to pick on where I start coming in a bit light. First off it forces accuracy (too fast means washout) and also the line will gradually shift to flush and then the trip 4. I always find when I find a line in practice I am hitting flush in, by the fourth frame I leave a split somewhere.
