Just as I suspected. I asked you to provide hard evidence (bowling industry experts, published manufacturer studies, etc) disputing what I presented. Instead, you, start with a diversionary personal attack, and finished with a link to a thread that ironically mostly supports my point. Mo Pinel and others convincingly posted support for thermostatically controlled air vs. the bucket/dishwasher. So let me get this straight. Mo is a "Genius' when it fits your needs, and he's just issuing "opinions' when it doesn't satisfy your agenda. Typical.  ::)

Sometimes I think you're on drugs when you post your responses. For the safety of those around you, I hope not.

Spin away, spin doctor, spin away.  There's nothing in that link that even remotely "backs" your convoluted thinking.  Different urethanes have different temperature cure temps and thresholds.  But I guess you'll even argue with and dispute a PhD of chemistry because of your mule-like stubborness and your arrogance.  Like I said, go save some dolphins from excess lane oil oozing from the sewer outlets.

You originally posted in this thread to pick a fight. Shame on you for continuing your endless destructive behavior, and shame on me for biting.

I could easily pick apart your last post point by point, but it would be fruitless. You'd simply jump into one of your alternate universes, and chasing your next round of terminal psychosis wouldn't be worth the time and effort.

So off to ignore purgatory you go. I've been told many times it's impossible to have a meaningful exchange with you, and those folks are correct. So like the many others who have put you on ignore as you migrated from one banned ID to another, I'll follow their lead. There are only so many brain cells that can can offered up for sacrifice, and I'm done. Bye.

Yes, but it's rare as Motiv covers have the slowest absorption rate of any company on the market by a significant amount.  I've gotten oil out of 1 Sting and 1 Forza, and a tad bit out of a Covert Revolt.  However, I have had a few Motiv balls that were getting lazy not have any oil come out, but be revived by the Detox.  There's a cleaner in the accelerator solution that you add to the water that gets a super deep clean on the ball while the oil is being removed.

ITZPS, has the Jayhawk unit extracted any oil from Motiv balls---especially the Sigma Sting?

Yes, much like your posts in the Guru Mighty thread and the ball reviewer thread.  Facts get in the way of your "argument" so you turn tail and run. Buh bye.  Don't let the door hit your ass on the way out. If only it were true that you are using the ignore feature but you'll read this and reply.

ITZPS, what do you charge for one of these treatments?

The Detox is better than the Revivor for several different reasons in my opinion.  The first is run time, I've found that a 30 minute treatment does the job 9 times out of 10.  Sometimes if the ball is excessively soaked, I'll change the water halfway through.  The Revivor can take several hours of dry heat to get most of the oil out.  While the Revivor simply uses heat to change the viscosity of the oil and allow it to run out of the ball, the Detox both extracts AND deep cleans the pores of the ball.  The Detox is safer on the ball and much more efficient, and instead of having an oily mess at the end of the treatment to clean up, the oil in the Detox is suspended in the water.  When you remove it with the rack, simply place it on a towel sprayed with cleaner, wipe the ball down, vacuum the water out of the finger holes, and it's ready to be used instantly.  The oil and water is then just drained out of the Detox.  We have a Revivor at one of our other stores, and the manager there has used both and he by far prefers the Detox, says there's really no comparison.

$20.  Some places charge $25, which I still think is a reasonable price for what you're getting and how fast you're getting it.  Come in 45 minutes before league and it will be done in time for you to bowl with it.

My son had a Roto-grip Wrecker that was cleaned regularly including resurface in the year he had it (moved up in weight).  Thought we'd give the Detox a try as ball had lost reaction.  We were very pleased with results.  Actually had to change water and run through twice to get all the oil out as the water turned milky in about 5 minutes.

We surprised his coach as we didn't tell him we'd used Detox.  He immediately noticed the backend ball reaction had returned and asked what we had done.  I have tried other home methods before, but this was most noticeable difference I had seen.

Just my personal results, but made a believer out of me.  Glad local pro-shop has this.

This is my experience with everything that oil is removed from, it's a great machine!

What about treatments like Adrenaline wipes.

I have been told by industry experts this is the answer.  Oil removal and removal of dirt to get the ball reabsorbing oil.?

Motiv offers Power Gel Scuff which they say is effective for drawing out oil. I cannot get any oil from the Sting after an hour at 125 degrees in my Nu Ball unit. I wonder how a gel can do something that a Rejuvenator cannot do.

Has anybody used the Power Gel Scuff? What results?

Whoever is telling you that is wrong.  A wipe isn't going to extract oil, it might get what's on the surface off, but it's not going to remove it.  The wipes are definitely good and helpful, but for oil removal, no effect whatsoever.  The Detox pulls it out and cleans MUCH deeper.

Lucky -- TZPS is correct on this. The wipes are designed to chemically enhance oil absorption -- they're not meant as a solution for oil extraction. Personally, I recently used the wipes on a Storm Reign of Power that has lost some reaction, and I'm not sure what effect they had. I need to test the wipes on a few other balls across more diverse conditions before making any final conclusions.

St. Croix -- Among the scuff compounds, Motive Scuff Gel is one of my favorite products. For scuffing, I like it because it's not too aggressive and relatively easy to get the finish I'm after. I've used it primarily as an oil extraction compound, but on my equipment I have no way of measuring the effectiveness. I've found that in using Hook-It (plus Storm Reacta Scuff where appropriate) immediately after sets, I'm not extracting any oil (from any ball) using my NuBall unit. I have a friend who uses Motiv Scuff for oil extraction, and I was able to extract some oil using NuBall from a few of his Columbia balls. But I'm not sure how religious he was in performing his cleanings.  ;)

BMFOBR -- I temporarily put you on ignore to get relief from your persistent obnoxious ignorance. Your actions of intentionally misrepresenting Mo Pinel's absolute positions (not opinions), referencing an unnamed Chemist as proof positive for your twisted thinking, and continuing to deny the reality of dishwasher limitations for ball oil extraction made putting you on the shelf a necessity. But I'm recharged and you're off ignore. Lucky you.  ::)

Steven, thanks for the response. I have an old Freeze which is my experimental ball for surface changes, etc. The Freeze gives up oil in the Nu Ball unit, so I will use some Motiv Power Scuff on it and see what happens. Thanks again.
