Strange Series?

Last Friday night, I went out with my son and bowled 705 on a THS.  I went 278, 149 and 278.  278 is my personal best (even though it's not sanctioned, it was still pretty cool to me) and it kills me how I can be so inconsistent. Have any of you had similarly strange sets?

P.S.  if John the Axeweldr reads this, first was with the Black Pearl and second with the Buzz you sold me.  Thanks!

Not me but a guy I am friends with went 300-15?-300.

700 with out a 200.

another guy had a 800 without a spare one open every game

How about a 831 with no spares and no 300.

264 - 279 - 288
 
279 game was 9 miss and 11 in a row
288 front 10 and a 4-9 miss

my first 600 went like this

148 - 242 - 242 = 632

bad ball choice in first game switch balls back to back 242s

Did both this year. . .not sure what compelled me to shoot that 279 end game. I just switched to my Radical Inferno and watched the miracle take shape.

i have had several series go like 260+, 170's, 260+ & 170's, 250's, 250's.

but by far my most memorable series was on 10-2-1998. went like this:

202-180-300 (first 300)

this just 7 weeks before my Daughter was born.
