What is this ball?

Hey!  Anyone know what Mikasa bowling balls are?  I have never seen or heard of these balls but what are they and why are people paying over $300 on Ebay for them?

But is anyone actually buying them? It's the same guy from Hawaii who puts a huge price on everything.
