Bob is the letter to the editor signed "Bob Hanson" in the current Bowlers Journal from you? I agree with what you said. Do you think that oiling the lanes again after the practice session is the answer as some have suggested? I think that would be a simple fix to the problem.

Why you need to do that? you don't think is fair? come one dood you are a pro don't matter what the lane is you should still be able to play it no matter what!

IT JUST ANOTHER EXCUSE. So bowler.

By getting all the practice on the pair and being able to torch the lanes they really are not bowling on the pattern that was advertised. Still tougher than a house shot but margins of error get made in the pattern.

What would you think if I bowler went out with a towel draped on his chest and did a belly flop down the first 30 feet removing most of the oil on the outside 10 boards?

Most would consider that to be cheating, at the very least un-ethical, but in a sense these super soaker balls are doing the same thing.

You shouldn’t be allowed to alter the playing surface to your advantage. The game should be about execution not about manipulation.
