JPF Black Axe
« on: August 02, 2010, 08:02:38 AM »
Hi all,

I posted a 15lb Black Axe in the "for sale" section.  What I'm wondering is, what exactly is something like this worth?  It is NIB.  I was looking through my collection, and forgot that I even had this thing.  I'm suprised I didn't drill it years ago.

From my understanding, it's possibly the first assymetrical ball.  Created by the founder of Faball after he sold the rights to that company.  Is this a rare gem/piece of bowling history, or a $100 dollar urethane ball?

I don't want to be a tool about the price, but I'm also a collector who appreciates the value of some of the more historic bowling balls like the Bleeder Yellow Dot, Shore D, Brunswick Crown Jewel, X Calibur, etc.

Any opinions on this thing's value?
