Please don't laugh oh go on then everyone
   else has.Recently when bowling in the County
   Trials I left the 7-10 on a light pocket hit
   so I bowled my plastic ball for the 10 pin,
   seeing my shot was on target I turned to go
   back to the rear of the lanes,one of my fellow
   bowler's said "You've got it",I replied
   "I know I hit the 10 pin" to which,with a grin
   he said "No you spared it"
   Great amusement was had at my expense by all my
   collegues,but at least I can say I've got it
   even if I never saw it.
   I've also just found out I made the team this year.

Congratulations on a difficult spare.

One of my teammates did the same thing a few years ago.  He released his ball and then turned around to return to the settee area and never saw his conversion of the 7-10.  He thought we were joking when we told him he made it.

I learned very early on in my bowling life to never take your eyes off of your shot. I hate to see a bowler who rolls the "perfect" shot and does not watch the pins fall. I too have made the 7-10 once off a lucky kick back similar to the way Mark Roth made it on TV However, after many years of bowling, a couple of weeks ago I made the "big four" 4-6-7-10. I rolled a routine shot to pick up the 6-10 but to my surprise I got the kick back of a lifetime. The best part was I saw every pin fall. Can't wait for my patch.
