--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Last night was the best night I had in a long time.First game I pull it by trying to swing it and took 3 pins out of the left side of the rack in the first frame spare and double wood spare that as well. Then I move several board right and preceed to throw 10 strikes in a row for a 278 game.Second game I had a 198 with a 1-2-4-6-10 pickup as well. That second game show me that the ball was not going into the pocket like the first game.So I move a other 5 boards to the right and went between the first and second arrow to the pocket. In that game I started out with a spare and string some strikes for a 258 game.Total series 278-198-258 for a 734 series. It has been several years since the last one.I was getting worry that no 700 with 2 more weeks left on Tuesday nite.

I hate ten pins but love the game of bowling with just the right ball to take them out.

I did that a couple weeks ago: 266-193-247 = 706

The "scenic" route to shooting 700.

Nice bit of adjusting, BTW.  Few people are so bold.

Good bowling!

At a pro-am once, a pro told me that was the mistake most of us older guys made, not moving enough at one time.

He said the days of one board adjustments was over and if your going to make an adjustment, make a bigger one than that.

It seems to have been good advice.  Since then, I always move at least three boards with the feet and one with the target, and sometimes I have to make this adjustment a couple of times before I get caught up with the oil line.

Smart moves on your part to get you there.  Now, just shoot two more in the next two weeks.......

Truthfully, and not to demean your question, I have shot quite a few 700's and have shot at least one with most balls I have used from time to time.

My LAST two were with an ebonite gamebreaker (716) and a visionary blue/green centaur (730)

I had to do a double look on that because it was almost exactly what I did last night.  I pulled a 262-193-246 for a 701.  Sad part is I forgot to show up the 2nd half of the 2nd game.  I started off with the first 5 then I guess it would have been a good idea let up on my speed a hair and try to work on my split conversions.
