Just got my ball resurfaced....

After a ton of games and a huge loss of hook, I figured it was time for a resurface on my ball. I got it done today, and it was supposed to bring it back to OOB condition. I haven't had a chance to throw it quite yet....what should I expect?

i would say close to out of box but not quite i have had success when the ball has just been resurfaced

Expect it to react horribly, so that way you won't be disappointed no matter what it does.

But anyways, i think there are just too many factors that we can't really tell you.

***Update***
I threw my Freak tonight after a fresh resurface a few days ago. The reaction was less than impressive. The ball doesn't hook even close to what it did before hand. I had the ball resurfaced due to the fact that the ball wasn't hooking nearly as much in oil as it used to, and was leaving a lot of pocket 10's. I'm not sure if there was just a flood tonight or if it was the ball. My thinking was that when my pro shop operator resurfaced the ball, he overpolished it. Let me know what you guys think.

have him sand it down to 320 or 400.. if it hooks to much ask him for a LIGHT polish.

He told me after the resurface it was at 450 with a coat of polish on it. I'm gonna have him do a bit of additional work and bring it down some more. I hope it works, cause I don't wanna lose my fave ball

Really the freak isnt polished.. Maybe have him hit it with a 600 grit.. Sorry I finally got to thinkin heh!

I highly recommend the Ebonite Hook Again thing...it worked wonders for my Phenom!  Be sure to leave it in for at least 4 days (not the short, useless 24h period).  My Phenom went in the chamber, then it was resurfaced.  Now it's back to being awesome!
