Hello everyone.  I was a 165 ave bowler back in the junior high days but bowled maybe 5 games in the past dozen years or so.  A couple of months ago a friend of mine from my old team got my bowling again with some regularity.  Since all I had for a ball was my old Star Trax Equalizer (the span was off and inserts too small) I searched the net for some user reviews of bowling balls and found this site.  After some reading I decided to pick up an Original Inferno and Dexter shoes.  After about 15 games with my OI I shot 208-225-235 for a 668 -- far and away my best series.  I'm not under any illusions that I'm now a 200 ave bowler, but I'm having a blast and looking forward to working on my game and possibly joining a league in the fall.

Thank you everyone in the BR community.  The wealth of knowledge about both the game and the equipment along with friendly users makes this site exceptional.  I look forward to the day when I can give something back to the forum.

Excellent series Bender777- keep up the good work and the more you read and post here the better your game will be in the long run. I see a 700 happening this season for you too...
