Justin Stevens 2 handed

Osku
Belmonte

Justin Stevens.

who was first?   Does anyone know anything about him?  His 2 handed style seems slightly different from the other two as Osku and Belmonte also have slightly differently styles.  Belmonte bends his elbow more on the back swing and the other two seem to sling it a bit more.

There was a post about Belmonte being a poster child for the PBA.   The 2nd link Justin has a bottle of water in his pants and then pulls it out.  A little terrel owens attitude.  How would that go over on tour if someone did that?

Belmo and Osku throw it way better imo.  This guys falls off every other shot.  No twohander that I've seen post shots as good as Belmo and Osku

Then you obviously haven't seen me bowl.

I do agree though. He seems kinda flakey in his post shot.

I don't believe Justin is in the PBA, just league and tournaments.  He is an awesome bowler and one of the best in Hawaii.

+1

He might be able to strike a lot in local stuff...but falling off of shots like that will not allow you to truly repeat shots.

I have to agree.  Cassidy is the best in regards to form and solidity at the foul line.  FWIW, I have had quite a few people here in Atlanta tell me after seeing Belmo on tv that my form is alot better than his.  Russell can do the same thing.  I have seen him many times throw the ball 2 handed and he does quite well for someone who does not throw it that way more regularly.

Thanks NJ.  I always throw his name in there.  Better than both Osku and Belmonte.  Of course I might be biased since I know Cass fairly well.

I am self teaching myself 2 handed and am succeeding quite well.  It's the consistency on not PULLING the ball that I struggle with. Once I relax I can easily string 6-8 in a row.

I would love to see other peoples form to break down the movement then compare it to my own.

any help would be incredible.  thanks

There was a guy in Houston by the name of James Wright who use to be as solid as anybody I ever saw at the line. Could take a picture after he released the ball and use it as a teaching tool. He threw the ball two handed and ave around 230-240 for a time back in the late 80's early 90's before reactives.

I know  James Wright myself and he is one of the smoothest bowlers I have ever seen.   I wish I could bowl half as smooth as he can!!!

Gotta love it NJ.  I just can't help myself when it comes to Cass.  Even better than his talent, is his personality.  Such a great person.  Is currently working for USBC down in Texas.  Happy for him.  I am sure it will only open even more doors for him.  As if he needs them opened.
