Title: Karma

So in the third game last night I run the first 9.  In the 10th I throw a great ball for another strike.  In the 11th, some nerves set in.  I'm just telling myself to keep my speed up.  I did, but sometimes when I throw it too hard, I jerk it in.  I jerked it in about 4 boards, it crossed over brooklyn and carried for a strike.  I'm thoroughly embarrassed.  The entire house is watching me because our pair is the slowest on this particular night and everybody else is done.  So, after that lucky break, I regain my focus and in the 12th I throw a great ball....solid 10 pin.  I deserved that after the embarrassing ball in the 11th.  299.  Karma.

Great game!  

Sounds like my 299 last year.  Nailed the first 10, then came in light and had messengers take out the 7-10 at the last second.  The last one came in high and left the 6.

I have rarely seen a 290+ game without a little bit of luck or a sloppy hit.
