Keeping my trail leg down... see my video

This past weekend I bowled like a turd.  Truth is, I felt like I bowled a lot better than the scores showed.  Regardless, Paul Fleming comes to me after qualifying and tells me there one thing... and only one thing... he wants me to work on.  To keep my trail leg down.

So I am looking for advice on this.

Aside from that, shot looks good.

I notice most collegiate-coached bowlers, like much of the female's we've seen on the USBC challenge, have the top of their foot rest on the approach, not the tip, or the bottom. I don't know what's involved with that, but it would seem like you would have no choice but to keep it down in that position.

Yeah I hear ya.  I need to practice.  

I tried it and it does feel weird. It feels like I'm squatting down.  Which might be a good thing.

Hmmmm... I've heard that saying before.  Yeah, Carol Norman gets on my case about my habit of bending over too much.  And yes, I lay the ball down early.  I used to be able to lay it down without hearing a thing.  Smooove!
