One heck of a Storm...
« on: February 10, 2009, 06:25:44 AM »
So does anything besides Storm work on tour. They only ball from another company thrown on TV this weekend was Fagan's Ebonite Bash spare ball. Makes me wonder why I don't have any Storm equipment. I don't throw on the same "demanding" conditions they do, but wow that has got to say something for Storm. Maybe they just recruit the best players, I don't know, maybe some of you do.

This was not meant to be a firestarter, but I guess I should've known by now that it doesn't take much on here to light a four alarm fire. I would just like to give props to Storm for having the balls of "right now". Also to say that I have been really impressed with the guys that do make the show and how accurate they can be under such overwhelming pressure.

Storm/Roto balls are predictable, they are very smooth and predictable. That is why they do good on tour. Sure Hammer/Ebonite/Brunswick can do good on a house shot, but then again what can't? These companys are making tons of balls that go 45 feet and make a direct left hand turn. Storm doesnt make equipment that way, yes the VG hooks a lot but its an early, readable controllable hook. I love the NV line from Ebonite, but I recently just got a Cell Pearl and will be getting more Storms/Roto's, these balls are a totally different world in comparison to the other brands. Great stuff!
