Kegel Winding Road
« on: December 14, 2009, 11:18:11 AM »
Hey guys, who here has bowled on this pattern? I may be doing a JBT this weekend and this is the pattern of choice for the tournament. I have a good variety of equipment with a good variety of layouts so let me know what works best please.

My stats:
about 17-18mph
300-350rpms

I bowl on this pattern at two different houses, both using similar layouts. My rev rate is pretty high so I find longer pin to pap's with higher val angles work well for me as there is plenty of friction.

our house shot is played on this patterns.
i average arround 220 on this pattern, and it is not that hard. i have a high rev rate arround 500 but low axis of 3½. there is 2 diffrent lines for me on this pattern. first i just outside 1 arrow with a Momentum swing drilled 45x6x35 and with a fresh 1000 abralon and plenty of speed. this gives a early very very smooth ball roll. second is just inside 4 arrow with break arround 7-8. this line i usually play with a Action 40x5½x35 or a power swing drilled 40x5 1/4x35. i has not been able to find anything between 1 and 4 arrow but inside or outside this it is pretty easy
