I was wondering how much carrydown we bowlers
really see on league night. With these ever
changing coverstocks, i was wondering if more
oil is soaked up by the ball rather than carried
down the lane. When we start bowling my ball
comes back with an oil ring and by the middle
of the second game, the ring is fading. So is
my ball soaking up more oil rather then pushing
it down the lane? Only 1 time this year have i
run into carrydown.
